Population Topics
This section provides factsheets covering population (both estimates and projections) and is intended to inform the development of the plans and strategies Used by Durham County Council and its partners in providing services and support to the residents of the county. Further data is available through the ‘Population‘ theme under the ‘Themes’ menu above.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) produce estimates yearly and projections every two years and the following factsheets summarise these data for County Durham and provide access to a population estimates data sheet for the main geographies in County Durham:
