The following provides a list of the pharmaceutical services (as of April 2025) in County Durham and a web map to locate these services, (Note: the web map opens in a separate window).

The following mapping exercise was undertaken in December 2021:
Population
- Location of pharmacies mapped against population density (all ages).
- Location of pharmacies mapped against population density of the over 65’s.
- Location of pharmacies mapped against deprivation.
Access
- Pharmacies open after 6pm (with a 100-hour pharmacy distinction).
- Pharmacies open at the weekend (with a 100-hour pharmacy distinction).
Note: This information is based on core opening hours only since additional supplementary opening hour can, with a 3 month notice to NHS England and Improvement (NHSE&I), change at any time. Information on core opening hours was obtained from NHSE&I in October 2021.
